Director of Treasury Services, Association for Financial Professionals
Tom Hunt, CTP, is the Director of Treasury Services at the Association for Financial Professionals. Hunt has more than 15 years of direct treasury experience working across different industries, including various roles at Medtronic, Fairview Health Systems and, most recently, at 3M Company. At 3M, he oversaw the global banking strategy, redesigned and implemented a new domestic cash management structure and led acquisition activities for the treasury department. He holds an MBA in finance from the Opus College of Business at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN.
Christopher Morris
SVP – Payment, Treasury & Risk Solutions, Cambridge Global Payments
Christopher Morris brings over a decade of experience supporting the international payment and foreign exchange needs of financial institutions, professional service organizations and multinational corporations. As Senior Vice President of Payment, Treasury & Risk Solutions at Cambridge Global Payments, Christopher advises clients on best practices, strategies and processes for the movement of funds globally in over 170 countries, while leading the firm’s commercial teams over the western half of the US.
Based in Chicago, Chris enjoys exploring the world in news ways with his toddler son and wife.
Corinna Plassmeyer, MBA, CTP
Cash Manager, Natural Food Grocers
Corinna is an experienced treasury manager with an MBA, CTP and a long history of improving and streamlining processes, training employees and leading cross-functional teams. She is adept at both short and long-term budgeting and forecasting and creating forecast models as well as writing clear and concise reports to support financial analysis and recommendations.
In her current role as Cash Manager at Natural Food Grocers, Corinna directs all cash management operations including daily cash settlement and management of all bank accounts and banking relationships. She is responsible for improved cash flow efficiency through detailed short and long term cash forecasting and the implementation of proper banking structures. She also manages the company’s credit facility to ensure adequate working capital and that all covenants are properly maintained and reported. Additionally, she implements policies and procedures to ensure necessary controls are in place for all treasury activities. Corinna remains focused on incorporating automation and efficiency gains through the implementation of virtual payables, store level cash handling improvements, and credit card processing enhancements and reporting.
