– Leadership: It’s Give and Take – Lead Finance teams with purpose. Your team (whether a work team in Treasury or your collaborative team of customer/consultant) wants to be part of a winning combination, sure…but it’s even more important how you play the game. You will learn:
1. Why the game has changed from winning to playing well
2. What “playing well” means
3. Why it is mission-critical that you master the art of giving
4. When it is important to take
5. How to grow your team into leaders that replace you…and why that is a good thing.
Presenter(s) Bio:
What do 80s music, curlers, and 20 years of executive business experience have in common? Who says business is boring?
As a previous corporate executive leading teams in 12 states prior to starting my own contracting and consulting company, I have been both a business leader and a business owner. I am as serious about business as I am about fun!
I am a(n):
Keynote presenter that is fun, uplifting, and energetic, even if the Keurig is broken
Professional emcee who ties together your theme with humor and laughter
Expert with 20+ years professional background in property management industry (Yes, that’s 20+ years. Photoshop’s Wrinkle Remover works wonders, am I right?)
Former radio co-host on own show on AM talk radio, regular guest on popular AM radio stations
National speaker on the topic of gossip
Author of juicy faith-based book on true tale of gossip
Woman allergic to crafts, camping, and cooking. NOT allergic to coffee.
I chat it up with businesses, organizations, and women’s groups on a variety of topics including how to bring fun into the workplace and how to serve customers while laughing with them.
They can’t seem to drag me away from radio, so I still regularly speak on creating environments of positive communication in communities and in the workplace, all the while making it a fun and light-hearted experience. I promise to take off the radio uniform (aka pajamas) and dress for success — and fun — when I speak to your group in person.
I have spoken for many professional organizations including Colorado Workforce Consortium, PMI, Colorado Business Women, American Society for Training and Development, and District 26 Toastmasters.
Trophies from Toastmasters Speech Contests line my mantle from the Club, Area, Division, and District levels. These trophies are not only something of which I am proud, but they also come in handy to kill spiders as needed.
Most recently, I have tossed my own personal rules never to sweat. I challenged an old fear by preparing for my first 10K and my first rock climb. You will be relieved to know that I still don’t sweat; I glisten.

I look forward to laughing together!
