Session Title: A Free Market Solution for Our Nation's Legal Immigration Challenges

We will discuss the overall economic impact of tariffs, especially in North America, to companies and possible strategies to manage that impact. Impacts will be discussed such as: the job market, cost of production locally vs importing with benefits and disadvantages, US & global economy impact and fed rates.

This 2025 hot topic will be presented in a short panel and then participants will discuss in small groups with facilitated leadership of the discussion.

Helen Raleigh, CFA, DTM, is an American entrepreneur, writer, and speaker. She’s the founder of Red Meadow Advisors, LLC. In 2023, the Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce named Helen as one of the “top 25 most powerful women in business.”

Besides her business activities, Helen has authored five thought-provoking books, including the award-winning autobiography Confucius Never Said and her latest work, Not Outsiders: Asian Americans’ political activism from the 19th century to today.  Her writings have been featured in various national publications, including The Wall Street Journal and Newsweek. Helen’s media appearances include C-Span book TV, Fox News, PBS, and numerous radio talk shows and podcasts.

Helen has a master’s degree in Business Economics from the State University of New York, College of Oneonta, and an MBA from the University of Wyoming.
