Title: Women in Treasury and Finance: Observations, Obstacles and Opportunity

Session Description: From internships to the C-Suite, steering a career can take many twists and require bravery to be true to ourselves.  Navigating corporate culture, passion and life-balance requires intentionality, feedback and risk.

Join us for an inspiring and thought-provoking panel of female leaders in our Treasury and Finance industry, as they discuss their diverse career paths, how to influence for maximum impact in a business culture, while staying aligned with your values and leading with integrity.

Moderator:

Kari Ellis, CTP

Kari is a Treasury Banker with CrossFirst Bank in Denver, CO. As mission-driven and top-performing business development executive she is passionate about helping people; making a difference in the world through compassionate capitalism, promoting healthy communities; advocating for the power of our collective diversity and strengths as the way toward a thriving future for everyone.

Kari is a Past President with the RMAFP and is currently on the Board serving as Membership Co-Chair.

Panelists:

Ashley Hermann has been employed for 10 years with Arrow Electronics, Inc. She currently serves in the role of Treasury Controller, after spending time in various positions in Audit and Finance.

The Treasury Controller manages the compliance and reporting activities of the global Treasury organization. This includes providing leadership over the policies and control environment and serves as a primary point of contact for the internal and external audit groups.

Ashley obtained her MBA from Regis University in 2018, and her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Regis University in 2014.

Staci Holmes is a Senior Treasury Manager for Prologis covering the Americas region (USA, Canada, Mexico, Brazil). In addition to daily cash management, Staci is responsible for identifying opportunities for efficiencies across the cash management process as well as consulting with internal teams.

Staci joined the Prologis team in November 2021. Previous to Prologis, Staci spent over ten years of her career working in the banking industry to consult on and provide treasury service solutions to corporations. She uses her banking experience to help manage existing banking relationships and help maximize the benefit of banking solutions while working to identify areas of improvement. Staci holds a Bachelor's Degree from Oklahoma State University.

Kim Perry, CFO, CPA, CDI.D is an accomplished CFO, CPA, and Executive Leader with over 25 years of business experience, including nearly 20 years in the mining industry. Kim us an engaged board member with both public and private company experience.  Through strategic leadership across nearly all aspects of the business, she has transformed organizations to be highly effective and results oriented while positively impacting the culture. Mrs. Perry is experienced in overcoming diverse domestic and international business challenges using discernment and diplomacy to anticipate and resolve conflict swiftly. Kim has led global initiatives related to ERP implementations and transformations, mergers and acquisitions including integration, and ESG framework development and inaugural reporting. Kim is also an expert in establishing processes, controls and systems for the operations and governance for the Board of Directors.
