KEVIN WEBBER | CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER |Carboy Winery

Kevin founded Carboy Winery with Owner Craig Jones and Head Winemaker Tyzok Wharton in 2015. Though a Colorado native, Kevin's 25+ years of experience in the restaurant industry led him down a path of great knowledge and appreciation for wine becoming a sommelier in 2011. Kevin is an entrepreneur at heart, simultaneously starting a health and wellness consumer packaged goods brand working in California agriculture from afar, while growing Colorado viticulture here at home. Kevin has been involved in all aspects of Carboy Winery since inception including brand and systems development, wine operations, front of house operations, and sales and market strategy. Kevin currently serves on the Colorado Wine Industry Development Board & CAVE Board of Directors. He has a passion for building impactful brands that give back, growing both the outdoor industry and wine industry, and actively promoting conservation initiatives and fighting to protect public lands. In his free time he loves spending time with his family and disappearing into the great outdoors.

Dan Luzietti|CHIEF Financial OFFICER|Hercules industries inc.

Dan Luzietti is an experienced, innovative senior accounting and finance executive with more than 20 years of progressive leadership experience.  He’s currently the CFO at Hercules Industries, Inc., a 100% employee-owned steel fabricator and wholesale distributor in the HVAC industry. 

Dan graduated from the University of Notre Dame earning a Bachelor of Business Administration while majoring in both accounting and economics in 2000.  He also earned an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management in 2007.

In his ten years at Hercules Industries, the company has more than doubled its size in both employees and revenue.  He has built operational and financial infrastructures to facilitate growth, increase productivity, and improve profitability while ensuring sound corporate governance and internal controls.  In 2019, he helped transition the family-owned business to an ESOP.  He now works hard to maintain the solid financial foundation for future growth and prosperity while educating his fellow employee-owners on how the business works and how each individual effort creates value potential.


Brian Huss, VP Finance & Treasurer, Kodiak Building Partners

Brian has been at Kodiak for 8 years and 30 of Kodiak Building Partner’s 36 acquisitions.  In this position, Brian is responsible for all FP&A and Treasury functions of Kodiak including budgeting and long-range planning, investor relations, mergers and acquisitions valuation, and cash and debt management. Prior to joining Kodiak, Brian held several financial positions with increasing scopes of responsibility at IBM and Fresenius Kabi USA.

Kodiak Building Partners was founded in 2011 to acquire family-run businesses in the building material sales and distribution industries. Over the last 11 years, Kodiak has acquired over 106 locations that serve general contractors, homebuilders, sub-contractors, remodelers, and consumers in Arizona, California, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Washington, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.

John Karns | Senior Investment Advisor | PNC Private Bank

John is currently a Senior Investment Advisor with PNC’s Private Bank in Denver, Colorado.  Previous to joining PNC, John was a Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager for US Trust.  As a founding member of the US Trust Denver office, John helped grow AUM from $0 to $500 million in 4.5 years.   

Mr. Karns is an investment and corporate finance specialist with twenty-five years of experience in investment management, financial planning and analysis, business development and operations management.  Prior to joining US Trust, Mr. Karns was a general partner in charge of Finance at ReOil Energy Partners located in Denver, Colorado. Previous to that, he was a nationally recognized institutional equity portfolio manager and analyst in both New York City and Denver.

John received his Bachelor of Science degree in both Computer Science and Economics from Iowa State University.  He received his MBA, Summa Cum Laud, in Finance from New York University’s Stern School of Business, where he was a Lewis Glucksman Fellow.  Additionally, he is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
