Title: Market Impacts on Financial Risk Management

Session Description: When the Federal Reserve decided to fight inflation, interest rates increased dramatically and became a topic of conversation from C-Suite down. This session will focus on understanding the current market environment's impacts on risk hedging activities and some of the key considerations of effective risk management. Whether your role is within finance, treasury, or you are a lender, this session will share the themes and priorities across our clients and the strategies they employ across rates and currency hedging.

Learning Objectives:

  • Identify key strategic questions that should define a risk management program
  • Understand how changes in the current market and the market outlook affect risk management decisions
  • Evaluate common challenges in managing risk (quantifying risk, evaluating alternatives, communicating objectives, achieving preferred accounting treatment)
