Michael Gavin is a Director in the Business Development group, covering corporates and financial institutions.  He is responsible for a territory of 15 states in the West Coast, Rocky Mountain and Midwest regions, while also covering oil and gas firms nationwide.  In addition to his role in Business Development, Mr. Gavin has held Relationship Management and Product Management roles at S&P.

Prior to joining S&P in 2014, Mr. Gavin was an Associate at Morgan Stanley, responsible for coordinating leverage loan transactions.  Mr. Gavin spent 6 years with Morgan Stanley, successfully implementing the middle office function between Debt Capital Markets and Operations.

Mr. Gavin earned his B.S. (Accounting and Finance) from Syracuse University in Syracuse, New York.

Kiley Nixson is an Associate in the Business Development group at S&P Global Ratings, covering Corporates and financial institutions. She is responsible for supporting business development efforts in the West Coast, Rocky Mountain, Midwest, and Southwest regions of the U.S. In addition to her role in Business Development, Ms. Nixson has held a Sales Operations role at S&P.

Prior to joining S&P in 2018, Ms. Nixson was an Account Manager at a boutique staffing firm, where she managed various new and existing relationships for the firm, successfully onboarding several new clients.

Ms. Nixson earned her B.A. (Political Science) from The University of Colorado, Boulder in Boulder, CO. She is also currently obtaining her MBA from The University of Denver.
