M&A Market Update: Colorado and Nationally

This session will focus on providing a market update in the M&A industry, specifically related to small businesses.  The presentation will touch on the general M&A industry in the first half of 2018 and the forecast for the second half of 2018, including what buyers and sellers of businesses should expect. Then, we will discuss the Colorado market specifically, including what is currently being seen by Transworld Business Advisors, compared to the U.S. nationally. Finally, we will briefly touch on the trends in financing a business purchase and the basics of valuing a seller’s business.

Jessica Fialkovich is a Certified Business Intermediary and the President of Transworld Business Advisors - Rocky Mountain. As Transworld’s President she oversees strategic planning and marketing initiatives, while providing overall management support for the company. After over a decade of buying, building and selling successful businesses in the wine & spirits and retail industries in Colorado and Florida, Jessica established Transworld to employ her passion for and experience in small business. Outside of Transworld, Jessica is the President of MOD Assistants and is involved with the Denver Metro Chamber, the CO Small Business Development Network, Entrepreneur’s Organization, Broadview Denver, Women on the Rise and the Rocky Mountain Microfinance Institute. Jessica is a charismatic and savvy advisor, with a passion for outdoor recreation, her husband, Al, and pup, Sailor!
