As Chairs of the 2017 planning committee, Liz and I wanted to personally thank you for attending the Rocky Mountain Summit! It was great seeing you all there and there were lots of new faces! We hope you enjoyed the many exciting speakers, exhibitors and events all in one place. Our fellow volunteers worked exceptionally hard to pull off a great event. They are awesome and deserve lots of thanks! It is an honor to have served alongside them and we look forward to seeing you all again very soon at other great educational and networking events.

The summer isn’t quite over yet, but don’t get lazy and wait to catch up with all the great things the RMAFP is doing. Check out our upcoming events on our website and keep an eye out for new opportunities, such as volunteering or submitting a speaking proposal to engage with your colleagues in the RMAFP.  It may seem quiet now, but your Board and committee volunteers are hard at work planning many exciting things to come. You never know what interesting things they have planned, so don’t miss a thing.

While you are checking out the website, make sure you renew your membership at the same time to take advantage of all the wonderful benefits it brings. It is a great value. Not only do you get special rates for RMAFP monthly events and next year’s Summit,  you will be able to expand your network of experts with the more than 150 fellow professionals who are members. Finally, only members have exclusive access to our career center.  Don’t wait to sign up because you won’t want to be locked out.

Now that the 2017 Summit is in the rearview mirror, planning for 2018 is already starting. Our Committee Chairs have met and begun to map out another exciting event! You won’t want to be left out. So start thinking about how your sponsorship of the Summit can be a great way to engage with the many professionals that will want to attend. It is also a good idea to begin thinking of the hot topics for 2018 that will be great speaking proposals. It never hurts to plan ahead because opportunity will come knocking before you know it.

And finally, for those of you who did sponsor the 2017 Summit  – THANK YOU! Because of you the 2017 Summit was a success!
